I just took this picture last week behind our barn. I love how it shows just how funny and flirty Jacob is. I was laughing the whole time because he was just posing on his own.

Main Street Days

We went camping this weekend and left the campground for a while to have some fun at this year's Main Street Days in Grapevine.

He had to ride the train a few times. He always wanted to ride in the front so sometimes we had to wait for the next train.

He rode on a pony named Red.

We petted goats, chickens and rabbits.

Carnival

Tonight we ate at Steak n Shake and then headed over to the local carnival.

Daddy stood next to Jacob while he rode on his favorite animal on the carousel - you guessed it...the Zebra!

After convincing him that the ladybugs won't bite him, he hopped in for a ride.

Mommy and Jacob riding on the train...you know you saw that one coming.

I think we have a stunt man on our hands. I hope this is not a sign of things to come.

He fished for a duckie and then picked out a prize - a blue stuffed dolphin.

"Swimming" In The Tub

Tonight Jacob took a bath in our big bath tub. Look at that silly soap hair-do!

He loves the bubbles and the jets (he says they tickle him).

We finally got the monkey out and dried him off. Yes he made a big mess

but oh well, he had so much fun "swimming" in the tub.

Say A Little Prayer

I asked Jacob if he would like to say the prayer tonight and he said yes. He said "Dear God...mac'n cheese, Dear God...candy, Dear God...hotdogs." Jeff and I laughed so hard, it was just about the cutest thing we have ever heard.

The next night he said another prayer, "Dear God...have taco and cheese, Dear God...mommy, "Dear God...daddy." It couldn't get much better that this.

A Day At The Park

We drove to the park and spent some time with daddy.

Slides are so much fun!

Daddy spotted me while I did some climbing.

I hung from the bars like the monkey that I am.

Just chillin' on the bridge watching the ducks.


If I duck under this fence, maybe I can go swimming with the ducks.

A Day Out With Thomas The Train

We took Me Me and Pa Pa to Chuckie Cheese.

Not so sure of Chuckie yet.

The pizza (or pizba as Jacob would say) was sooo good.


I think Jacob has found a new best friend.

Then we went to the Omni Theatre to watch the Deep Sea 3D movie. So Cool!

A Visit from Me Me and Pa Pa

Me Me and Pa Pa came to visit all the way from Kansas.

We were looking at Jacob's Highlights magazine before bed and he said

"Oh, I go get my glasses." Ok, so he got his sunglasses. He says this because

daddy needs glasses to read his magazines. Oh, how kids kindly point out our flaws. It is still innocent and cute!

Ami's Bridal Shower

My sister, Ami, had her bridal shower today. We are so excited for her and

her fiance John. Best Wishes!

I brought back cupcakes (or pupcakes as Jacob says) for my two guys.

It tastes better off the top lip. Yum-mie!!

Motorcycle Memories

Today I gave Jacob my motorcycle from when I was a little girl. It brings back memories of riding it down the hallway of my grandmothers house.
